BUSHWHACKER LUKE JOINS INTERNATIONAL PRO WRESTLING HALL OF FAME BOARD
6/30/2022 - ALBANY, NY - The International Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame is excited to announce that legendary tag team specialist and fan favorite, Bushwhacker Luke has been unanimously selected to join the IPWHF board of directors effective immediately.
Originally from New Zealand, Bushwhacker Luke has wrestled professionally on six continents since his career began in the 1960s. Luke brings seven decades of experience and knowledge to the IPWHF and we couldn't be happier to have him onboard as a member of the board of directors. Luke will be an integral part of the planning for the Class of 2022 Induction Weekend and we look forward to working with him to build "The Hall".
Having participated in the International Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame Class of 2021 Inaugural Induction Weekend, Bushwhacker Luke played an instrumental role in helping to secure the IPWHF museum at the MVP Arena and was crowned the IPWHF International Champion for his hard work and dedication to the wrestling industry worldwide. Having wrestled on six continents, Luke truly brings the "International" to the International Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame.
This year, Luke will be returning to Albany, NY to help celebrate the IPWHF Class of 2022 and partake in the Induction Weekend festivities; such as the Induction Day Meet & Greet, Legends Panel Discussion, and the Class of 2022 Induction Dinner where he is ready to defend the IPWHF International Championship title against any worthy opponents.
The IPWHF Class of 2022 Induction Weekend is scheduled for August 26th-28th, 2022 at the Crowne Plaza Albany - Desmond Hotel located at 660 Albany-Shaker Rd. Albany, NY. The IPWHF will be located on the second floor of the MVP Arena in Downtown Albany, directly across from the main offices of the Albany FireWolves of the National Lacrosse League, with the grand opening and ribbon cutting scheduled for 3:00pm EST on Friday August 26th, 2022 during the Class of 2022 Induction Weekend.
The MVP Arena is home to the Siena Saints (NCAA), Albany FireWolves (NLL), and the 2021 NAL Champion Albany Empire (NAL) along with numerous concert and professional wrestling events throughout the year.
